Sant'Agata is a tuff terrace overlooking the Caudina valley and at the foot of Mount Taburno. The atmosphere of the village takes the traveler for a walk in time, Samnite origins. It was a true crossroads of peoples that contributed to the renowned architectural wealth in fact the village of Sant'Agata de 'Goti is rich in splendid architectural monuments, churches and places of interest to be explored such as the Castle of the same name, the church of the Annunziata and the Cathedral of the Assumption. In the eighth century, the ancient village changed its name in honor of Sant'Agata.
